Hey fellow Suffolk University baseball fans here we go again; the beginning of another exciting Rams baseball season!
This season the kick-off tournament is in the beautiful, sunny Orlando, Florida area.
This year sports mama had smooth flying, unlike last year. If you guys remember sports mama was held hostage in Ohio, of all places, due to stormy weather.
This time Southwest airlines was amazing, the weather was cooperative and we arrived here on schedule.
The team lead-off with a match against Mount Saint Joe's of Ohio. Really are you serious?
The team is looking good even with the loss of our big hitter Nick Martinho, who graduated last year. (Talk about team spirit, Nick stopped by to support his old team) Any recruiters out there, I got a heck of a power hitter for you!!!
Sports mama was unable to get photos of this game as they were keeping the animals caged; I mean the fans behind a tall fence.
There was a lot of moving around of Suffolk players as the coaching staff tries out the new additions to the team in various positions.
Even though they were working out the kinks the Rams won the game 7-4.(See follow-up post with more details about this game)
Just to remind everyone and to let the newbies know I am not in any way affiliated or part of Suffolk university athletics.

Also do not complain to me because I am just a writer having fun with a great team. I want these boys to get their names and pictures out in cyberspace as much as possible in a positive, non-judgmental light. I also do not focus exclusively on the Rams I will also include pictures of the players on the other teams whenever I can.

Any negative comments toward sports mama will just plain hurt my feelings and I will cry like a baby. If this happens my hubby will find you and make you buy me a happy cone from DQ to make me feel better, so might as well not go there!
Once again please no embarrassing baby pictures and such, as I must remind everyone my kid plays with your cuddle bunny and I do not want my kid shunned!
I will update daily if Wi-Fi permits and will put as many photos up as I get. I do not know all the kids yet so if you see your boy's photo feel free to drop a note and give me his info so I can label it accordingly.
