While the boys of summer,
or as of lately, the boys of a really soggy spring,
had a minor setback at the GNAC tournament last weekend due to their loss to St. Joe's of Maine
; they have come roaring back!
I posted the pictures from the GNAC tournament that was held in Nashua at the Holman stadium.
I apologize for the quality of the pictures. Sports Papa and sports junior aka my hubby and my youngest son dropped my camera and it has now gone on to camera heaven aka the back of my drawer! So being the good hubby that he is he bought me a nice new camera with all the bells and whistles!
Challenge was the quality of the photographs was not what I was used to with my other camera. I tried it out at the tournament and as you can see the quality just was not there even though it cost a lot more than my original camera.
Needless to say it went back and I got an upgraded version of my old point and shoot digital camera! I absolutely love my new camera so Sports Junior is off the hook for the demise of my old one!
I posted the photographs from the first game Suffolk played against Brandeis University on Saturday May 3rd in lovely yet very cold and wet Waltham, Mass.
The boys had their game on big time and played exceptionally well even with the incredibly wet conditions!
I will be posting the photographs from the second game later tomorrow after I am done editing the million shots I took!
Seriously digital is dangerous!!
But so much fun!
Luckily for two particular players whose names I won't mention,
Jose Alejandro
And Nick Martinho;
who by the way, sent one packing;
I think one of the astronauts in the space station caught that bad boy, cause it certainly was not the Brandeis outfield!
I was not quick enough on the draw with my new camera to get the money shot of them hitting the deck during the game!
I must admit their recovery was beautiful! No one even noticed the "minor"
slips.
We all knew it was part of the strategy to throw off the other team's game and it worked beautifully!!
All kidding aside the team looked incredible even with the Umps once again suffering a bad case of erroneous-call-itis!
Amazingly our boys adjusted their strike zone and took care of business!
Great pitching outings by
Steve Durant
Dan D'Alia
And, Greg DiMarco!
I will post more in-depth coverage of the games later this week! In the meantime I am looking forward to figuring out how to use my nice, new camera at tomorrow's "Night" game in Quincy against MIT!!
For now, this is sports mama signing out extremely psyched over the awesome baseball I saw this weekend from our team!! GO RAMS!!!
