My name is Buddie and I live a dog's life. It is lonely and hard at times. I work hard to get respect, but it never comes easy. I live in a society that stigmatizes me because I am different.
My parents tried to make an impossible relationship work. He was a hard working immigrant from Mexico. He came from a long line of proud Chihuahuas. He was brought to the United States to keep an American girl safe. It was dangerous work, but he was proud to do it.
That is when he met my mother. She had been contracted from Germany to oversee the perimeter security. Together they were an unstoppable team. That is, until the day they fell in love. No one understood the attraction between these star-crossed lovers; the fearless, deadly Chihuahua and the smart, yet delicate German shepherd.
My parents were persecuted and shortly after the birth of my sister Suzy and me, my mother was sent back to Germany in disgrace. My father was overcome with grief and spent the rest of his life trying to make enough dog biscuits to be able to bring our mother back to his side.
Suzy and I were sent to a puppy mill in the secret of night to keep the shameful secret. We were placed in a cold and unloving home. After months of loneliness I was taken out of the home and moved to a safe house where I found a crazy, yet gentle loving human family.
Suzy was not so fortunate. To this day she is still in the grips of that lonely place.
My happiness was to be short lived as my father's curse fell upon me as well. I too fell for a dog beyond my reach, beautiful and smart I could only but hope that she would notice me.
How could I, a humble lap dog, hope to gain the favor of a self-made diva of all the creature comforts?
Somehow Karma was on my side and she too felt the chemistry and sizzle!
But just as I hoped to see all my dreams come true with this Goddess of doggie-hood, her humans moved to another state! Curses!
So here you find me, as I walk the lonely path of a long distance relationship. I pour my heart out about our everyday struggle to keep the love flames burning thousands of miles away.
But I know that no matter what, someday we shall be together; but in the meantime I share my story.
The life of Buddie.., Buddie the dog.

Great site!
I love your three sites! Great stuff. Your family should provoke others to want what you all have worked hard on achieving. The hardest thing on the planet. A loving home with mutual respect and support! Please sign my pet guest book at www.realfoodforlife.blogspot.com and showcase your non-human babies!
Grace and Peace,
Ed
GO SUFFOLK!
