As I was on my morning walk today I noticed a certain aroma in the air. No it was not coming from my neighbor's trash.
It was something more. I was a bit perplexed as to what it was, when it suddenly hit me! It was the intoxicating scent of spring!
I had been so preoccupied with the incredible responsibility of providing top notch security for my hapless neighborhood that I had missed it at first.
I stood and pondered as the various scents filled my nostrils. Instantly I was taken back to a younger more carefree time, a time when I was just a young pup barely ankle high. Okay maybe I am still barely ankle high, but you get the point!
Life was so much simpler then, playing with my ball, chewing on my bone, rolling on the floor and frolicking in the grass! Ah, those were the days! Wait that was yesterday, never mind, you get the point!
Now as my life rushed by me a sudden urge came over me, a feeling of.., wait hold that thought need to step into my office.
Ah, much better, anyway while I was deep in "thought" it occurred to me that I had a deep desire to help my fellow doggie-kind; a desire to make this doggie-house called earth a better place, but how to do that?
Then it suddenly came to me! I would take my life experience and use it to help other canines to better themselves! I would use my knowledge to help them overcome their challenges and insecurities. With my beloved Vita by my side, we would guide the dog world to higher depths of success and doggie well-being.
So from now on I, with, Vita would answer the countless letters from our fellow canines needing guidance to better themselves.
I took a deep breath of the sweet spring air one more time as I turned to walk my charge home. I doggie-smiled as I realized that I, Buddie the dog, now had a purpose in life. Plus that doggie biscuit waiting for me behind the couch was just calling my name!
